A fav[orite] Icon are those tiny little icons that you see next to your website url when your site is bookmarked.
To add a favicon to your site you first need to make one. The demensions should be 16x16 px. You can save it in any form (.png, .gif, .jpg, ect) Now upload it to tinypic, photobucket, or your website.
